Police News Release - July 12, 2026

 Impaired Driver – Immediate Roadside Prohibition

On July 12, 2026, shortly after 2:00 am, police conducted a traffic stop at 34th street and Centennial Blvd.  The 22-year-old male driver failed when providing two roadside breath samples.  His vehicle was seized and his license was suspended for 90-days.

 

Break and Enter

On July 11, 2026, shortly before 7:00 pm, police responded to a report that the complainant’s 27-year-old child had broken into their house and assaulted them.  The suspect was located and arrested.  They will appear in court on September 21, 2026, on charges of Break & Enter and Assault.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On July 11, 2026, at approximately 12:30 pm, police responded to a possible disturbance at a business in the 1500 block of Highland Ave.  It was determined that one of the individuals involved, a 41-year-old male was not to be in contact with another involved party.  He was arrested and will appear in court on September 21, 2026, on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

Arrest Warrants

Over the past 24 hours, two individuals were arrested on outstanding arrest warrants during separate incidents.

 

Other Arrests

Over the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested and lodged until sober at Brandon Police Service due to their behavior caused by drug or alcohol consumption, during separate incidents.

 

Curfew Breach

Over the past 24 hours, one individual was arrested for a curfew breach.
