Police News Release - August 3rd, 2026
Highlights for the last 24 hours:
Theft Under $5,000
At 1:00 pm, a theft was reported from a business in the 1000 block of Richmond Ave. Two female suspects stole $350 worth of meat and fled in a vehicle. The license plate of the vehicle used was obtained and Police were able to locate the suspects at the address associated with the vehicle. A 55-year-old female and 31-year-old female were charged with theft and released for a court appearance at a later date.
Assault with a Weapon
At 3:30 pm, a male reported another male had struck him with a cane while in the 1300 block of 18th St. the Victim suffered a minor injury as a result. A 44-year-old male was arrested for assault with a weapon and later released on an undertaking.
Assault
On June 4th a female reported being assaulted by two other females. A 21-year-old female was identified as one of the suspects. She was located today and arrested for this assault. She was held in custody due to her level of intoxication and was released on an undertaking when she was sober.
