Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours 1 individual was arrested on the strength of their Warrant of Arrest. The 25-year-old male was held for court in the morning.   

Protective Detention & Care of Intoxicated Persons Act (PDCIPA) 

In the last 24 hours 1 person was lodged at the Brandon Police Service for PDCIPA. They were arrested and held in the BPS detention cells to be released once sober and able to care for themselves.

Assault

At approximately 5am on Sunday morning, April 26^th, Police responded to a 911 call for an assault at a residence in the 300 block of Princess Avenue. The subject responsible for the assault was located in the area and was subsequently charged and held in the BPS cells due to his level of intoxication. The 21-year-old will be released on an Undertaking with a court date scheduled in July.
