Arrest Warrants
Over the past 24 hours, three individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. Two individuals were held in custody for a court appearance in the morning. One other individual was released on an Appearance Notice with a scheduled court date.
Breach of the Peace
In the past 24 hours one individual was arrested for Breach of the Peace. They will be released in the morning once calm/sober.
Protective Detention + Care of Intoxicated Persons Act
On April 14th at 4:56 a.m. Police attended to the area of the 2500 block of Victoria avenue for a report of an intoxicated female banging on the complainant’s truck. Police arrived and located the female who was distraught and intoxicated. The female was arrested and brought to BPS detention cells, where she will remain until sober and cooperative.
Arrest Warrant & Resist Arrest
On April 15th at 3:10 a.m. Police attempted to stop a 21-year-old male who was known to have an unendorsed warrant for his arrest. The male attempted to evade arrest by running away from police in the 700 block of 17th street. After an extensive search the male was located by police in the 1600 block of McTavish Avenue and was arrested and brought to BPS detention cells to be held for court the following morning.
