Police News Release - July 26th, 2026

Highlights for the last 24 hours:

Assault with a Weapon

At 8:00 pm, a 30-year-old female was arrested at a residence the 1500 block of Stickney Ave after Police received a disturbance call to that residence. It was learned that the female had choked a male, assaulted a female, and then hit a second male with a skateboard. She was charged with assault, assault with a weapon and breach of probation and was held in custody for court in the morning.

Mischief to Property

At 3:24 am, a 57-year-old male was arrested in the 800 block of Princess Ave as the complainant reported that the male had thrown rocks and hit his vehicle causing damage to multiple areas of the vehicle. He was released to appear in court at a later date.  

Assault

At 4:45 am, a call was received with arguing heard in the background coming from a residence on Acadia Blvd. Once on scene, police learned the 37-year-old male had assaulted a female at the residence. The male was arrested and lodged at BPS to be released on an undertaking in the morning.
