Police News Release - July 19th, 2026

Highlights for the last 24 hours:

 

 

Domestic Assault

 

A female attended to Brandon Police Service reporting she had been assaulted by her spouse the previous day, as well as reporting an assault which had occurred a couple years prior. The 42-year-old male suspect was arrested and later released on an undertaking.

 

 

Breach of Court Order

 

At 7:44 pm, a call was received of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of 22nd st with a suspicious male in in the vehicle. Upon members locating the vehicle, it was determined the 38-year-old male occupant was breaching his court orders by being in that location due to conditions not to communicate with a specified female. He was arrested and held for court.

 

 

Breach of Probation

 

At 2:20 am, Police were dispatched to the 500 block of 23rd St as the caller reported a 28-year-old male was banging on the door, and he was on conditions not to attend that residence. The suspect left prior to police arrival but was located at his residence and arrested.

 

 

Other Arrests

 

11 other persons were arrested for warrants for arrest, disturbance and public intoxication calls.
