Police News Release - May 16, 2026

Highlights for the last 24 hours:

 

 

Breach of Orders

 

At 10:26 am, a call was received of a possible assault occurring at a residence on River Heights Dr. While dealing with the call, Police dealt with 22-year-old and 25-year-old females who were both breaching their orders not to consume alcohol. Both were arrested and the 22-year-old female was brought to BPS to be held before being released for court and the 25-year-old was released at residence.

 

 

Assault

 

At 11:52 am, Police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of 5th St for a possible domestic assault. An 18-year-old male was arrested at scene when police arrived. There were allegations of various assaults which had occurred over the previous months. The accused was later released to appear in court.

 

 

Other Arrests

 

Four other individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants, and 3 others were arrested for matters related to public intoxication.
