Flood Update - River Levels Continue to Rise (July 11, 2026)

The Assiniboine River is continuing to rise in Brandon in anticipation of the forecasted peak near July 13.

As of 0700hrs this morning, the river level is 1177.6’ at 1st street and continues to rise. Over the last 24hrs, the river has risen approximately 4’.

City crews continue to monitor conditions and inspect all flood protection infrastructure.

These river levels and flows are extremely dangerous and remind residents to please follow all posted closures and stay off flood protection measures at this time.
