Flood Update - July 18, 2026
As of 7:00 a.m., the Assiniboine River level at 1st Street was 1177.29 feet.
Since reaching its peak on July 13, the river has now declined by approximately 2 feet, 2 inches, and water levels continue to trend downward.
While this is encouraging news, residents are reminded that flood waters and riverbanks can still be dangerous. Fast-moving water, unstable ground, hidden debris, and slippery conditions can pose serious safety risks.
City crews remain on duty monitoring conditions and flood mitigation systems throughout Brandon.
