Flood Update - July 15, 2026
As of 10:30 a.m., the Assiniboine River level at 1st Street was 1178.69 feet, which means the river has dropped approximately 5 inches.
Water levels and flows remain very high, and conditions can change quickly with any significant rainfall.
Residents are encouraged to remain alert and continue practicing caution around the river, flood protection infrastructure, and any areas affected by high water.
As water levels begin to recede, riverbanks can become unstable, hidden hazards may emerge, and currents can remain stronger than they appear.
Please stay back from floodwaters, respect all barriers and signage, and avoid walking or driving through affected areas.
City crews continue to monitor conditions closely and will provide updates as needed.
