April 29th, 2026, Brandon Police Service Special News Release


On March 27, 2026, Brandon Police Service Major Crime Section members began an investigation into a break and enter where multiple firearms were stolen along with other property from a residence in the 400 block of 22nd Street in Brandon. As a result, five of the stolen firearms were recovered and four suspects were identified and arrested on March 27 and 28. MCS members have continued the investigation into the remaining stolen firearms and on April 28, MCS with the assistance of PDSU, Patrol and Community Support members executed a Search Warrant in the 2300 block of Brandon Avenue.
A suspect was arrested and during the search of his person and the residence MCS members located a Sawed-Off 12 Gauge Shotgun, confirmed to be stolen from the break and enter on 22nd Street along with ammunition. An additional loaded, Sawed-Off .22 Caliber Rifle was also located within the residence along with packaging material, scales, methamphetamines and other weapons.
Johnny Isaac CAMPBELL, 23, of Brandon has been charged with:

Sec. 95 C.C. – Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition x 2
Sec. 96 C.C. – Possession of Firearm Obtained by Crime
Sec. 86(1) C.C. – Careless Storage of Firearm / Ammunition x 4
Sec. 88 C.C. – Possession of Weapon x 2
Sec. 90 C.C. – Carrying Concealed Weapon x 2
Sec. 117.01(1) C.C. – Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order x 8
Sec. 733.1(1) C.C. – Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 4
Sec. 145(5) C.C - Fail to Comply with Release Order x 2
Sec. 354(1) C.C. – Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Sec. 354(1) C.C. – Possession of Proceeds of Crime
Sec. 5(2) CDSA – Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine)
Campbell was remanded into custody.
Jordan Lee BRANDON, 31, of Brandon is wanted by Brandon Police Service and a Warrant has been issued for his arrest. BRANDON has been charged with:
Sec. 98(1) C.C. - Break and Enter to Steal Firearm
Sec. 348(1)(b) C.C. - Break and Enter and Commit Theft over $5000
Sec. 91(1) C.C. - Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x 9
Sec. 86(1) C.C. - Careless Storage of a Firearm x 5
Sec. 354(1) C.C. – Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
