2026 Residential Water Sampling Program for Lead Testing

The 2026 residential water sampling program for lead testing has begun. Increased lead in drinking water can affect the health of everyone, especially children, infants, and pregnant persons.  For more information on the health impacts and current lead mitigation programs, please visit the City’s website at brandon.ca/watertreatment/lead-water-services-information.

The City is providing 50+ sampling kits this spring to those that signed up over the winter.  There are still sampling kits available for 2026 and a sign-up list for 2027. 

Please consider signing up for the sampling program now!  Lead water quality testing for all participants is free of charge.  The results of the individual sample tests will be made available to homeowners directly.
