2026 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Hours of Operation

Brandon, MB – The City of Brandon will be observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Please be advised of the following hours of operation for Wed, Sept. 30, 2026:

Brandon Transit will be operating regular hours from 6 a.m. to midnight. The Transit Information Centre will be closed. Reminder: track buses in real time using the BDN Transit App.

The Eastview Landfill and Diversion Depot will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekly collection will continue as scheduled. Please ensure your carts are out by 6 a.m. View the collection schedule and routes on brandon.ca.

The following facilities will be closed:

A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Ave.)
Brandon City Hall (410-9th St.)
Brandon's Community Sportsplex (30 Knowlton Dr.)
Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Ave. E.)
Parks Complex (2020 McGregor Ave.)
Youth Centre (638 Princess Ave.)

All after-hours Public Works emergencies should be directed to the City of Brandon Public Works After-Hours Line at 204-729-2285. Non-emergency issues can be reported online at brandon.ca/report-an-issue.
