Please be advised of the following 2018 Easter Holiday Hours of Operation for the City of Brandon:
Brandon City Hall (410-9th St.), the A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Avenue), and the Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Avenue East) will be closed on Friday, March 30th to observe Good Friday and on Monday, April 2nd in lieu of Easter Sunday. All three facilities will re-open for regular business hours on Tuesday, April 3rd.
City of Brandon Refuse and Recycling collection on Friday, March 30th will occur as per its normal schedule. The Eastview Landfill’s Easter Long Weekend hours of operation are as follows:
Friday, March 30th - 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Saturday, March 31st - 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Sunday, April 1st - CLOSED
Monday, April 2nd - 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Brandon’s Community Sportsplex will remain open and operational throughout the Easter weekend. Visit https://mycommunity.brandon.ca/ for a complete list of facility hours and available programming.
An important reminder for all Brandon Transit users that, as per a recent decision of Brandon City Council, buses will no longer be in service on Good Friday (March 30th) or on Easter Sunday (April 1st). However, buses will run regular hours of operation (6 a.m. to midnight) on Saturday, March 31st and on Monday, April 2nd. Brandon Transit routes can be found by visiting http://www.brandontransit.ca/routes-schedules.
