Arrest Warrants

On January 14, 2020, shortly before 10:00 am, police responded to a disturbance in a residence between sisters. One of the sisters, an 18-year-old female was found to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. She was arrested and will appear in court in February 2020 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Probation.

Shortly after 4:00 pm, a 26-year-old female attended Brandon Police Service, as she was aware she was the subject of an arrest warrant. She was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre on a Charge of Fail to Attend Court, and will appear in court today.

On January 15, 2020, at approximately 3:00 am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of 11th street. The driver, a 45-year-old male was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today on charges of Fail to Attend Court.

 

Fail to Comply with Recognizance

On January 14, 2020, shortly after 10:00 pm, police responded to a request to remove a female from a business in the 1100 block of 18th street. The female was refusing to leave, and had previously been barred from attending the business.

Police learned that the female was to abide by a curfew. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today on a charge of Fail to comply with Recognizance.

 

Breach of Peace

On January 14, 2020, at approximately 2:20 pm, police responded to a disturbance at a residence. A 25-year-old male was becoming physically violent with other members of the household after having consumed Meth. They were unable to prevent him from acting out, and needed to remove children from the residence in order to assure their safety.

The male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to prevent the situation from escalating further.

 

Breach of Peace

On January 14, 2020, shortly after 5:00 pm, witnesses report a suspect in a parking lot in the 800 block of 18th street N. trying to enter parked cars. Police do not believe he was successful in his attempts. The 39-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On January 14, 2020 at approximately 8:40 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence. An intoxicated guest was no longer welcome in the home as he was causing issues for others. He was given numerous opportunities to leave by the homeowner, but he did not leave. The 58-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre until sober to prevent any further issues.
