Theft Under
Shortly after 1:00 pm on August 26th a report was received about a theft of an ebike from a residence on East Fotheringham Drive. A suspect was identified from video surveillance that was obtained. As a result a 28 year old male was arrested for Theft Under $5,000 and released with an Appearance Notice. He is to appear in court on November 2nd, 2023.
Mischief
On August 20th a male damaged a VLT in a downtown hotel. Video surveillance was obtained and the male was identified. The 29 year old male was arrested on August 26th for Mischief Under $5,000 and released with an Undertaking. He is to appear in court on November 2nd.
Assault
On August 15th a complaint was received that a male was assaulted by a known male. As a result a 15 year old male was arrested and released with an Undertaking. He is to appear In court on November 7th, 2023.
Possess Weapon / Resist Arrest
Shortly after 10:00 pm police responded to a residence on the 500 block of 26th St with regards to a female stating her boyfriend was intoxicated and causing problems. Upon police arrive the 40 year old male was intoxicated and aggressive. He reached for a knife and was quickly subdued. He was arrested and released with an Undertaking in once sober. He is to appear in court on November 6th, 2023.
Structure Fire
Shortly after midnight on police along with BFES responded to a structure fire at a residence on the 100 block of 24th St. Flames could be seen from the back porch area. The fire was extinguished and the cause is still under investigation.
Domestic Assault
At approximately 11:00 pm a complaint was received that a female had assaulted her boyfriend at a residence on Darrach Bay. As a result a 42 year old female was arrested and released with an Undertaking. Shortly after 4:30 am she violated her conditions of the undertaking and was subsequently arrested. She was lodged and held for court in the AM.
Domestic Assault / Utter Threats
On August 26th police received a complaint from a male that his girlfriend had assaulted him and threatened to kill him. As a result a 36 year old female was arrested for Assault and Utter Threats. She was released with an Undertaking to appear in court on October 30th.
Warrants / Other Arrests
Shortly after 9:30 pm a 22 year old female was arrested from a residence on 400 block of 10th St as the result of an outstanding warrant for Breach of Probation. She was released with an Appearance Notice to appear in court on September 25th.
Shortly after midnight a taxi showed up at BPS with a female that had passed out in the back seat. A 22 year old female was medically cleared and lodged in BPS cells to ensure her safety.
Shortly after 3:330 am a call was received about a highly intoxicated person banging on the door of a residence on Garwood Dr. As a result a 42 year old female was medically cleared and lodged at BPS.
