Endorsed Warrant arrest leads to Weapons charge

Just after midnight, on Sunday morning, Police conducted a person’s check in the 1900 block of Richmond Ave. The 34yr old male was found to have an outstanding endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Failing to Attend Court. At the time of the arrest a knife was located in the sleeve of his clothing and the Brandon man subsequently charged with carrying a concealed weapon. He will appear in Court today.

Possession of Stolen Property

At 3:01am, a female suspect on a bike attempted to evade Police when they tried to stop her in the 100 block of 13th St. The suspect was eventually stopped a few blocks later, and the bike she was on was determined to be stolen. The 29yr old female from Brandon was also found to be in possession of some bolt cutters. She was released on an Undertaking with a Court date in July.
