Theft of Vehicle

On August 15, 2023, police received a report of a vehicle stolen from the 200 block of 12th street. The vehicle is described as a 2020 red Dodge Caravan with Manitoba license LAU 180.

Breach of the Peace

On August 15, 2023 shortly after 7:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female causing problems on Westaway bay as she was going into residential yards.  The 39-year-old female was located and arrested.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released once sober.

 

Theft Under $5000

On August 14, 2023, police received a report of a male communicating via text with an individual with whom he was to have no contact.  He then attended to their residence and stole their security camera. 

On August 15, 2023, police located and arrested the 32-year-old male and lodged him at Brandon Police Service.  He will appear in court this morning on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation and Theft Under $5000.

 

Theft Under $5000

On August 15, 2023 shortly before 4:00 pm, police were flagged down by an individual near the 900 block of 18th street N, as their bicycle had just been stolen. Police located the suspect several minutes later at 10th and Victoria with the stolen bike.  The 33-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on October 10, 2023 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Breach of the Peace

On August 15, 2023 shortly before 5:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male behaving in a threatening manner towards employees at a business in the 300 block of 10th street.  The male proceeded to throw garbage around onto a neighboring property.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent his actions from continuing.
