Assault

On December 20, 2023, shortly after 1 pm, police responded to a disturbance at an establishment in the 300 block of 18th Street North. Further investigation revealed an adult female victim had been assaulted by a 51-year-old male. He was arrested and later released to attend court on February 12, 2024, on a charge of Assault.

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking

On December 20, 2023, at approximately 2:25 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Stickney Avenue. A 20-year-old male occupant of the vehicle was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to comply with a Release Order. Upon arrest he was found to be in possession of cocaine, a pellet pistol, and cash. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today on charges of Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds of Crime, Fail to comply with a Release Order x2, and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

Mischief Under $5000

On December 1, 2023, police responded to report of mischief to property in the 100 block of Regent Crescent. A 32-year-old female smashed a window of the residence then fled. On December 20, 2023, she returned intoxicated and refused to leave. Police located her at the residence and arrested her. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today on charges of Mischief to Property Under $5000 and Breach of Probation x2.

Breach of Peace

On December 21, 2023, shortly after 3:00 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence.  A 36-year-old male was being aggressive and threatening toward the home owner.  To prevent continuation of his behaviour he was lodged at Brandon Police Service.
