Stolen Vehicle

On December 13, 2023, police received a report of a stolen vehicle.  The 1998 white Dodge Ram was parked in the 700 block of Braecrest Dr and is believed to have been stolen between 8:30 pm and 11:30 pm.  It has Manitoba licence UTH 101.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered

On December 13, 2023, shortly before 12:00 pm, police recovered a 2010 white Ford F150 which had been reported stolen out of Portage la Prairie on December 12, 2023.  The vehicle was parked and unoccupied in the 1200 block of Rosser Ave.

Mischief Under $5000

On December 13, 2023, shortly after 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male damaging a door of a business in the 600 block of 18th street by writing on it with permanent marker.  The male was located and arrested.  He was also to abide by a court ordered curfew.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Mischief to Property Under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Release Order.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On December 13, 2023, at approximately 11:00 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of 9th street.  A 33-year-old male passenger was to abide by a daily curfew.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  Upon his arrest, police discovered he was in possession of a small amount of meth.  He will appear in court today on charges of Fail to comply with Release Order and Possession of Meth.

 

Breach of the Peace

On December 14, 2023, at approximately 3:00 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female causing issues in her home.  Her family was unable to prevent her actions from escalating and requested police remove her.  The 18-year-old female was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrants

On December 13, 2023, shortly after 3:00 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Park Ave.  One of the passengers was the subject of outstanding charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking X2, Possess Weapon Dangerous X5 plus other charges.  Police attempted to arrest the 32-year-old female, but she fled on foot and a brief foot pursuit ensued.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today with an additional charge of Resist Arrest.

On December 13, 2023, police located and arrested a 27-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court.

On December 13, 2023, a 51-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service as he was aware he was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation.  He was later released to appear in court on February 20, 2024.
