UPDATE: The stolen truck was recovered, unoccupied in the 100 block of 12th street. It will be processed by members of BPS Forensic Identification unit.
On August 14, 2023, shortly before 7:00 am, police received a report of a vehicle theft from the 600 block of Pacific Ave. The owner of the vehicle was sleeping inside the parked truck, when a male opened the door, and pulled the owner out. The male then stole the truck driving eastbound on Pacific Ave. The vehicle is described as a white 2018 Chevrolet Silverado with Manitoba License LCW958. It has some damage on the passenger side door. The owner received minor injuries as a result.
The male suspect was approximately 5’8” wearing all black.
