The City of Brandon Clerk’s Office would like to advise the public of a forthcoming change in the start time of Brandon City Council meetings.
Pursuant to an amendment to the Procedure By-law No. 6634 which was approved by Council on December 15th, 2014, all regular and special City Council meetings as of January 5th, 2015, will begin at 7:00 p.m., rather than 7:30 p.m.
The change is being made to alleviate staffing conflicts and in an attempt to keep the meetings from extending too late into the evening hours.
Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of the month, unless otherwise approved by Council, in the Council Chamber on the 2nd floor of Brandon City Hall, 410-9th Street.
