Brandon, MB - City Council will be considering one (1) citizen appointment to the Age Friendly Committee with the term set to begin May 1, 2022 and expire December 31, 2023.
The purpose of the Age Friendly Committee is to:
Engage community members to assess how age-friendly the community is within the eight established domains
Build awareness toward age-friendly priorities and actions
Support age-friendly initiatives throughout the community
Applications are available online at 2022 Age Friendly Committee Application Form or can be picked up in person at Legislative Services Office, located on the 2nd floor of City Hall, 410 – 9th Street. The application deadline is Friday, April 8, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Applications can be submitted via email to cityclerk@brandon.ca or can be dropped off at the Legislative Services Office.
