Notice of Public Hearing For Conversion Of Aberdeen Avenue To A One-Way Street

Brandon, MB – NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Brandon will be conducting a Public Hearing to receive representation on the proposed conversion of Aberdeen Avenue from Durum Drive to 34th Street to a one-way street. 

DATE OF HEARING:          Thursday, February 17, 2022 

TIME OF HEARING:           7:00 p.m. 

LOCATION:                         MNP Hall, Keystone Centre, 1175 – 18th Street 

  

Please note the following COVID protocols in effect: 

  • All persons attending the facility must show proof of vaccination and photo ID to enter the premises and attend events. 

  • Mask use is mandatory in all areas of the facility.

What happens at the hearing? 

At the time and date noted above, the Mayor will ask if anyone would like to speak either for or against the proposed conversion. City Council will also receive and consider any and all written representation on the matter.  

Do I have to attend the hearing? 

Your attendance at the Public Hearing is welcomed; however, you are not required to attend. You may make representation to City Council in writing by the deadline noted below.
