City of Brandon Suspending Public Entry to Several Civic Facilities

Brandon, MB – Due to the Province of Manitoba moving to the Critical level (red) #RestartMB Pandemic Response System, the City of Brandon will be closing a number of its civic facilities to the general public, EFFECTIVE THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH AT 12:01 A.M. UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

CLOSED TO PUBLIC ACCESS AS OF 12:01 A.M., THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH

  1. Brandon City Hall (410 - 9th Street)
  2. A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Avenue)
  3. Parks Complex (2020 McGregor Avenue)
  4. Brandon Community Sportsplex (30 Knowlton Drive)
  5. Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Avenue East)
  6. Brandon Fire & Emergency Services / Provincial E-911 Dispatch Centre
    (Fire Hall No. 1: 120 - 19th Street North & Fire Hall No. 2: 321 - 13th Street)
  7. Municipal Water Treatment Plant (108 - 26th Street North)
  8. Brandon Cemetery Administration Building (1901 - 18th Street)
  9. Eastview Landfill Administration Building (765 - 33rd Street East. Please note that the Eastview Landfill remains open winter hours)

 

A reminder that the City of Brandon Youth Centre was previously closed on Monday, November 9th, 2020.

 

REMAINING OPEN TO PUBLIC ACCESS WITH MODIFIED SERVICES

  1. Brandon Transit (21 - 8th Street)
  2. Brandon Police Service (1020 Victoria Avenue)
  3. Brandon Municipal Airport (405 Agnew Drive)
  4. Eastview Landfill (765 - 33rd Street East). There are no changes to the residential sanitation collection schedule.
