Brandon, MB - The City of Brandon’s Parks and Recreation Services wish to advise that a general cleanup of Eleanor Kidd Gardens’ greenspace will commence this week. The cleanup will take place from the elevated garden area west to 18th Street.
Now that the rock road has been removed and pathway construction along the dike is complete, Parks and Recreation Services and the Riverbank Discovery Centre want to clean up the area so that it can be used by residents and visitors. Diseased and dead trees will be removed and the grass areas will be mowed if weather allows.
By cleaning up the Eleanor Kidd Gardens, Parks & Recreation Services will be able to maintain this space on a regular basis next season.
