City of Brandon Water Level Update for July 10, 2020

Brandon, MB – The City of Brandon Emergency Response Control Group continue to monitor high water levels upstream daily and are ready to respond should that be required. Provincial officials report that the water level on the Rivers Reservoir has gone down less than half of a foot in the past 24 hours. The Rivers Reservoir and Little Saskatchewan River continue to be at flood stage. Provincial officials also report that the Minnedosa Dam and Rivers Dam remain stable at this time and are being monitored 24/7.
 

This morning (Thursday, July 10th), the Assiniboine River level in Brandon was measured at First Street at 1,167.80 feet above sea level – down 0.62 of a foot since yesterday’s measurement. The Assiniboine River in Brandon remains inside its banks and is below flood stage.
