January 31, 2020

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brandon, MB – Following successful on-site testing undertaken earlier this month, the City of Brandon’s Engineering Utility Department wishes to inform Brandon’s public that, as part of the ongoing Municipal Water Treatment Plant Expansion project, it will move forward with the installation of new pump system infrastructure at the Municipal Water Treatment Plant during the week of February 3rd, 2020.

The municipal water supply should not be interrupted during this work; however, it is possible that some residents may experience slightly lower than normal water pressure or dirty water to be drawn from their tap during this time.

Residents with questions about any of the above potential occurrences may contact City of Brandon Water Plant Manager Rob Smith at 204-729-2190 or City of Brandon General Manager of Development Services Patrick Pulak at 204-729-2477 for more information on the matter.
