City of Brandon 2019 Canada Day Long Weekend Hours Of Operation

Brandon City Hall (410-9th Street), the City of Brandon Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Avenue East), and the A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Avenue) will all be closed on Monday, July 1st in observance of Canada Day, and will re-open for regular business hours on Tuesday, July 2nd.

Brandon Transit users should take note of the following Canada Day Long Weekend Hours of Operation:

           Sunday, June 30th – regular Sunday hours of operation (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

           Monday, July 1st (Canada Day) – NO OPERATION

           Tuesday, July 2nd – regular hours of operation (6 a.m. to midnight)
 

Hours of operation at the Eastview Landfill on Canada Day are from 8 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.  A full list of seasonal hours of operation can be found at http://www.brandon.ca/sanitation/landfill/landfill-overview.

Brandon’s Community Sportsplex is closed on Canada Day, but staff invite you to take advantage of weekend programming prior to the holiday Monday, as the facility will be open on Saturday, June 29th from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday, June 30th from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit https://mycommunity.brandon.ca/ for a full programming schedule.

Meanwhile, Brandon’s five spray parks, along with Kinsmen Pool in Rideau Park, are open to the public through the Canada Day Long Weekend  – find individual locations and hours of operation at http://www.brandon.ca/recreation-parks/spray-parks.

The Wheat City Golf Course is also open for full 18-hole play, from 6 a.m. until dusk. Tee times can be booked by calling 204-729-2177 or by visiting http://wheatcitygolfcourse.ca/.
