The Council of the City of Brandon at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chamber, Civic Administration Building (2nd Floor), 410 – 9th Street, Brandon, on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 7:00 PM will consider giving 1st reading to By-Law 7152 (an amendment to By-Law 7116) for the following proposal to borrow $4,981,200.00 to pay for:
The renovation and expansion of the Brandon Municipal Airport Terminal Building, and parking lot upgrades.
Total financial assistance of $4,981,200.00 will be funded by borrowing.
Borrowing will be repaid over a maximum of 20 years at a maximum interest rate of 5.75% per year.
Annual repayment amounts will be no more than $425,511.53 to be levied annually as part of the general municipal levy.
Copies of the proposed By-Law 7152 are available to the public in the City Clerk’s Office, 410 – 9th Street, Brandon during regular office hours 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or listed under Public Notices on the City’s web site at www.brandon.ca.
