Brandon, MB – The annual fall clean-up of the Brandon Municipal Cemetery will begin Thursday, October 15th. As such, the City of Brandon kindly asks visitors to the cemetery that all placed items are removed from graves by Wednesday, October 14th. Items that remain on any grave after Wednesday, October 14th will be removed by Cemetery Maintenance Staff.
Items that must be removed in order for Cemetery Maintenance Staff to conduct annual fall clean-up include artificial flowers, ornaments, solar lights, plant hooks, stuffed animals, etc. Only headstones should remain.
An important note for all cemetery visitors, flowers contained in a vase are permitted in all sections; however, NO glass of any kind is permitted in the cemetery.
