Brandon, MB – Brandon Mayor Rick Chrest and all members of Brandon City Council warmly welcome the public to attend a Council-led, pre-budget public open house on Wednesday, September 30th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the cafeteria at Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School, 1930 1st Street.
All residents are invited to attend this come-and-go-style public engagement session and share their thoughts on the community’s current priorities and how they relate to Brandon City Council’s 2015-2018 Strategic Plan. A brief presentation at 7 p.m. will be followed by the opportunity to have one-on-one discussions with Councillors and members of City Administration in attendance prior to release of the 2016 draft budget. Members of the public can also provide their feedback in writing via a questionnaire for Council’s consideration during 2016 budget deliberations.
Coffee and refreshments will be available. All members of the public are encouraged to attend this important piece of Council’s community engagement strategy!
