City Of Brandon 2014 Holiday Hours

Please be advised of the following Holiday Hours of Operation for the City of Brandon:

• Brandon City Hall (410-9th St.), A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Avenue) and the Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Avenue East) will be closed on Thursday, December 25th and Friday, December 26th, 2014, to observe Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and will re-open for regular business hours on Monday, December 29th, 2014.

   

• Brandon City Hall, A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex and the Civic Services Complex will also be closed on Thursday, January 1st, 2015 in observance of New Year’s Day, and will re-open for regular business hours on Friday, January 2nd, 2015.

   

• Brandon’s Community Sportsplex will be closed on December 25th and December 26th, 2014.

   

• Hours of operation for Brandon Transit and Handi Transit over the holidays are:
  • December 24th – 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • December 25th – Buses not running
  • December 26th – 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

   

• Scheduled residential refuse and recycling pick-up for Thursday, December 25th, 2014, will be shifted to Saturday, December 27th, 2014. Collection on December 26th, 2014 will remain the same. While scheduled refuse and recycling pick-up for Thursday, January 1st, 2015, will be shifted to Saturday, January 3rd, 2015.
