Break & Enter

On April 4, 2021 at approx. 6:45 am police received a report that a garage on Winston Bay was broken into overnight.  The suspect got the overhead door opener from the vehicle in the driveway then entered the garage and stole some bicycles. 

On April 4, 2021 at approx. 10:50 am police received a report that a garage in the 600 blk of 19th St was broken into overnight.  The suspect is believed to have entered through the unlocked man door.  Suspect stole a bicycle. 

Stolen Vehicle

On April 4, 2021 at approx. 11:10 am police received a report that a truck had been stolen from the 700 blk 10th St.  A short time later police observed the truck driving on 26th St.  Police stopped the truck and arrested the driver, a 26 year old male.  He was released to appear in court on June 7, 2021 on charges of Theft of Motor Vehicle.

Impaired Driving

On April 4, 2021 at approx. 11:10 AM police received a report of a passed out male in a vehicle in the 2200 blk Pacific Ave.  Police attended and located a 19 year old male in a running vehicle.  He was arrested for being in care and control while impaired and brought to the police station. He provided samples of his breath, which resulted in reading over the legal limit.  He was released to appear in court on April 12, 2021 on charges of Care and Control while impaired and Care and Control while over .08

Possession of Stolen Property

On March 27th, police had dealings with a 51 year old male and found him in possession of a set of keys that were later reported stolen.  Police conducted their investigation and confirmed the keys were the stolen ones.  On April 4th, 2021 the investigator arrested him. He was released for court on June 28, 2021 on charges of Possession of Stolen Property.

Possession of a Weapon

On April 4, 2021 at approx. 1:15 pm police received a report of a male and female arguing while walking eastbound on Princess Ave.  Members located a 37 year old male, who matched the description.  The suspect was identified and detained. At that point, he told the police, he had a large knife in his possession.  The large hunting knife was seized as the suspect was on Probation with a condition not to possess weapons.  He was release to appear in court on May 17, 2021 on charges of Breach of Probation and Possession of a Weapon

Other Arrests

On April 4, 2021 at approx. 6:45 AM police received a report of a person “screaming and getting rowdy” in the 1200 blk 9th St.  Members attended the area and located a 16 year old female, who appeared to be intoxicated.  She was arrested for Breach of Peace and as she had no one to look after her, she was lodged to be released when sober.

On April 4, 2021 at approx. 9:00 pm police received a report of a male threatening, yelling, and being aggressive in a house in the 1400 blk 5th St.  The owner wanted him removed.  Members attended and residence and were aware the suspect was wanted from a couple days before for breaching hi curfew.  He was arrested and lodged to appear in the morning on a charge of Fail to Comply with a Release Order.

On April 5, 2021 at approx. 1:40 am police received a report of a dispute at a residence in the 500 blk Princess Ave.  Members attended and found the two females screaming in the suite. Both females, one 21 years old and the other a 19 years old, were arrested for Breach of Peace.  They were lodged to be released when sober.
