Possess Property Obtained by Crime

On April 29, 2021 at approximately 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of a hit and run motor vehicle collision in the 200 block of 5th street.  The suspect vehicle had been reported stolen out of Portage la Prairie and contained several individuals at the time.

Police located the vehicle in the area of the 600 block of Pacific and observed one of the suspects fleeing on foot from it.  The 15-year-old male suspect was stopped and arrested by police.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released to an adult today.  He will appear in court on June 8, 2021 on a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

Investigation led police to discover the identity of other individuals who were involved.

A 13-year-old male suspect and a 16-year-old male suspect were arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  They will each appear in court this morning on charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Fail to Comply with Release Order X2.

 

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

On April 29, 2021, police conducted a vehicle stop near Hwy 1A and Rd 107W shortly before 3:00 pm.  The vehicle being driven was reported stolen out of Lloydminster SK, and the driver was known to the owner. 

The vehicle was seized to be returned to the owner and the 41-year-old female driver was arrested.  She will appear in court on July 29, 2021 on a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

 

Stolen Vehicle

On April 29, 2021, police responded to a report of a stolen 2014 Grey Chevy Cruze from Alaska Bay.  The license on the vehicle is Manitoba KSW 710.  Suspects stole the vehicle sometime overnight.

Break and Enter to Residence

On April 29, 2021, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter at a vacant residence in the 900 block of 8th street.  Suspects forced a door lock between April 25 and April 28, 2021.  Stolen was a Greico paint sprayer and other items.

Arrest Warrant

On April 29, 2021, police located and arrested a 33-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Possession of a Weapon.  She was released to appear in court on May 27, 2021.

On April 29, 2021, police located and arrested an 18-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of fail to Comply with Probation.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

 

Operation of a Conveyance While Prohibited

On April 29, 2021, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 1800 block of Middleton Ave shortly before 1:00 pm.  The driver, a 25-year-old male, was prohibited from driving in Canada.  He was arrested and the vehicle seized.  He was released to appear in court on July 29, 2021.

 

Mischief to Property

On March 27, 2021, police received a complaint of a rock being thrown through a vehicle rear window as it was being driven.  Investigation led police to learn the identity of the 30-year-old female who was responsible. 

She was located in the evening of April 29, 2021 and arrested.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service due to her level of intoxication and will be released to appear in court on June 28, 2021 on a charge of Mischief to Property.

 

IPDA

On April 29, 2021, police responded to a report of a male passed out in the 000 block of 12th street shortly before 5:00 pm.  The 37-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself and had nowhere to go.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On April 29, 2021, police responded to a report of a 24-year-old female passed out on a bus in the 000 block of 8th street at approximately 10:30 pm.  She was in no condition to be left on her own, so she was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
