Possess Property Obtained By Crime

On March 29, 2021, police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of 11th street shortly before 1:00 am.  The license plate on the vehicle was reported stolen out of Winnipeg, and the driver was arrested. The 29-year-old male was found to be disqualified from driving as well.  He was released to appear in court on May 31, 2021 on a charge of Possess Property Obtained by Crime, and a fine under the Highway Traffic Act for Drive Disqualified.

 

Possess Meth

On March 29, 2021, police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Pacific shortly after 3:00 am.  The driver was openly carrying liquor in the cup holder.  Further investigation revealed a small quantity of Meth under the container of liquor.  The driver was to abide by two court orders not to possess alcohol or drugs.  The 56-year-old male was arrested and released to appear in court on May 31, 2021 on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation, Fail to Comply with Undertaking, and Possess Meth.

 

Break and Enter Garage

On March 28, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential garage on Grasslands Cres. Suspects are believed to have gained entry overnight by using a garage door opener from an unlocked vehicle.  Stolen were two mountain bikes, one an adult Trek, and the second a child’s black Giant brand, a pair of sunglasses and loose change.  Anyone with information regarding this B & E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact .

 

Break and Enter Residence

On March 28, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 1300 block of 7th street.  Suspects gained entry by forcing a window sometime between March 26 and March 28, and left the home in disarray.  Stolen was a 50” Samsung TV.  Anyone with information regarding this B & E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact .

 

Break and Enter Garage

On March 28, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a garage in the 500 block of 13th street.  Suspects were believed to have gained entry by cutting a lock at around 4:00 am.  Stolen was a ratchet set.  Suspects also rummaged through other property within the garage.  Anyone with information regarding this B & E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact .

 

Arrest Warrant

On March 28, 2021, police located and arrested a 37-year-old male on outstanding charges shortly after 11:00 am.  The male was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Possess Property Obtained by Crime, and Fail to Comply with Probation.

 

Breach of Peace

On March 28, 2021, at approximately 6:30 am, police responded to a report of a male who was behaving erratically at a business in the 800 block of Middleton Ave.  The 38-year-old male was found to be under the influence of illicit drugs.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On March 28, 2021, police located an intoxicated male in the area of Braecrest and Daly Drive shortly after 11:00 pm.  The 24-year-old male was on numerous conditions that he was in breach of.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court this morning on charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking, and Fail to Comply with Release Order.
