Mischief to Property/Theft Under $5000
At 855 am on Saturday, security at a store in the 900 block of Victoria Ave reported a man entered the store and stole grocery items. The man appeared agitated as he left. A short time later, the same man returned and spray painted the side of the store and a fence. He ran away but was located by officers in the area. He was arrested and appeared for remand on Saturday afternoon on charges of Mischief to Property, Theft Under $5000 x 2 and Breach of a Release Order.
Assault
At 6:26 pm on Saturday, a fight was reported near 7th St and Rosser Ave. An unconscious male was laying on the street. He was transported to BRHC by ambulance with non life threatening injuries. A male suspect was located by the responding officers in the 900 block of Rosser Ave. A 42 year old Brandon man will appear in court on Sunday morning on charges of Assault and Fail to Comply with a Release Order.
Other Arrests
A 32 year Brandon man was lodged on Saturday afternoon after refused to leave a downtown bar. Once sober, he was released and issued a ticket for Refusing to Leave a Licensed Premises when asked.
One man was lodged under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and two people were lodged for Breach of Peace.
A 20 year old woman from Brandon was arrested for breaching a release order condition. She will appear in court in July.
A 46 year old Brandon man was arrested for breaching a condition of an undertaking. He will appear in court in June.
A 24 year old Brandon man was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear for fingerprints. He was released to appear in court in July.
A 34 year old Brandon woman was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Appear in court and several other offences. She was released to appear in court in June.
A 27 year old Brandon man was arrested on a warrant for Conspiring to Commit an Indictable Offence. He appeared in court on Sunday morning.
