Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth

On May 7, 2021 at approximately 4:00 am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of MacDonald Ave.  Police K-9 indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle.  Further investigation revealed the two occupants were in possession of 20 grams of Meth.

The 27-year-old male occupant was to abide by conditions not to be in possession of any drugs.  He was arrested and later released to appear in court on July 8, 2021 on charges of Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth, Proceeds of Crime, Fail to Comply with Undertaking, and Fail to Comply with Probation.

The 26-year-old female occupant was arrested and later released to appear in court on July 8, 2021 on a charge of Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth.

 

Fraud Use of Credit Card

On May 6, 2021, police responded to a report of wallet thefts from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Rosser Ave between 1:00 and 3:00 pm.  Investigation revealed the identity of the suspect as she used a stolen credit card at a business, and her image was captured on security footage.

The 29-year-old female was located and arrested at approximately 7:00 pm.  Police discovered she was in possession of two cans of bear mace, contrary prior release conditions.

She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Fraud Use of Credit Card, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Fail to comply with Release Order X2, Possession of Prohibited Weapon Contrary to Order x2, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On May 6, 2021 at approximately 11:30 pm, police observed a male pedestrian known to them to have a court ordered curfew.  The male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order X2.

 

Theft Under $5000

On March 26, 2021, police responded to a report of the theft of merchandise from a business in the Corral Centre.  Security footage assisted in identifying the 36-year-old female suspect.  She was located and arrested on May 6, 2021.  She was released to appear in court on July 5, 2021 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

IPDA

On May 6, 2021, police responded to a report of a male who was passed out in the 000 block of 19th street shortly before 6:00 pm.  The 66-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself, and there was nowhere for him to go.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
