Mischief to Property/ Utter Threats

On May 3, 2021, shortly after 1:00 pm, police responded to a report of an individual using a hammer on various property such as buildings and signs in the area of the 400 block of 9th street.  The suspect damaged a window on a vehicle before throwing the hammer at a victim.  Nobody was injured because of these actions. 

The 30-year-old female suspect was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service overnight.  She will appear in court today on charges of Assault with a Weapon, Possess Weapon, Utter Threats, and Mischief to Property.

 

Break and Enter to Residential Garages

On May 3, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter in the 2900 block of Rosser Ave.  Suspects entered a garage through an unlocked door overnight.  Stolen was a mountain bike, which was later recovered on Wellington Cres and returned to the owner.  Anyone with information regarding this B&E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

On May 3, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to another garage on Wellington Cres.  Suspects entered the garage overnight by accessing the garage overhead door remote from an unlocked vehicle.  Stolen was a white Schwinn bicycle.  Anyone with information regarding this B&E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

 

Arrest Warrants

On May 3, 2021, police located and arrested a 53-year-old male who was wanted on a Parole Revocation Warrant.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service.

On May 4, 2021, police located and arrested a 33-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.  He was lodged due to his intoxication and will be released when sober to appear I court on July 29, 2021 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Probation.

 

Breach of Peace

On May 4, 2021, at approximately 1:30 am, police responded to a report of a male in the vestibule of a business in the 1100 block of Rosser Ave.  The male had been consuming meth causing his behavior to escalate.  The 33-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On May 4, 2021 shortly after 2:00 am, police responded to a report of a female at a business in the 1700 block of Middleton Ave who was banging on doors disturbing others.  The female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober due to her intoxication level.
