Official Opening of Hanbury Hill Pooch Park

The City of Brandon invites you to attend the official opening of the Hanbury Hill Pooch Park on the afternoon of Oct.22nd, 2012. The unique park has been created in partnership with the Wheat City Lions Cub and features benches and picnic tables for the public, along with a separately fenced area that small dog owners have the option to use.


What: Official opening of Hanbury Hill Pooch Park

Who: Mayor Shari Decter Hirst, Assiniboine Ward Councillor Jeff Fawcett and invited guests from the Wheat City Lions Club

Where: Hanbury Hill Pooch Park, 600 Braecrest Drive

When: Monday, October 22nd, 2012, 3 p.m.


Members of the public are welcome to attend the afternoon’s short ceremony, after which they can take a walk around the forest-like setting and provide any feedback or comments they may have about park.
