Presentation on Proposed Budget 2012 - salaries & wages

The following is a summary of information handed out by the City of Brandon to local media during a news conference on the morning of Jan.24th, 2012.

 

The presentation provides information about the different drivers of the proposed $6.4 million increase in wages and salaries. Wages and salaries make up approximately $6.4 million of the overall proposed $7.6 million budget increase. The information presented here is reflective of the proposed 2012 budget, which was debated by Brandon City Council on Dec.9th and 10th, 2011. This information does not take into account any forthcoming changes that may be debated or approved by Brandon City Council at its special meeting on Feb.7th, 2012.
