2012 Transit Fares
Please be advised of the following changes to Brandon Transit Fares. These changes will take effect January 1st, 2012. To view the new fares, please visit the City of Brandon website or call 729-2279.
ADULT
Cash fare $1.15
Ticket Books (10 pass) $10.00
Pass $66.00
YOUTH/SENIOR
Cash fare $0.90
Ticket Books (10 pass) $8.00
Pass $38.00
POST SECONDARY STUDENT
Cash fare $1.15
Ticket Books (10 pass) N/A
Pass $43.00
OFF-PEAK PASS
Discontinued
HANDI-TRANSIT
0 - 60 trips per month $3.75
61 + trips per month $7.50
If customers have already purchased tickets at the current rate, they may exchange them and receive a refund providing the following conditions are met:
- All 10 tickets must be intact in the book; no refunds for partial books will be given. Exchanges may only be done at the Transit Administration Office at 900 Richmond Avenue East or at the Information Centre Downtown.
- Exchanges will ONLY be offered from January 1st, until January 15, 2012. Absolutely NO exchanges will be allowed after this date.
In addition to these changes, Brandon Transit will no longer offer free transfers. As such, a fare is required every time a passenger boards a bus.
PLEASE NOTE THE OFF PEAK PASS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED AND IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR SALE. THESE CONSUMERS WILL NEED TO LOOK AT OTHER FARE OPTIONS
