Rescheduled Public Hearing On The City of Brandon 2020 Financial Plan

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to subsection 162(2) of The Municipal Act that the Council of The City of Brandon intends to present its financial plan for the fiscal year 2020 at a public hearing that will be held in the Council Chamber, Civic Administration Building (2nd Floor), 410 - 9th Street, Brandon, on Monday, April 20, 2020, at 7:00 PM.


The City of Brandon is adhering to physical distancing protocols.


Council will hear any person who wishes to make a representation, ask questions, or register an objection to the proposed financial plan. The City will be accepting written representations by email at cityclerk@brandon.ca, or by regular mail, addressed to the City Clerk’s Office, 410 - 9th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 6A2.


The hearing will be broadcast on the City’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/CityofBrandonMB) and on WCGTV. Comments can be submitted in real-time during the public hearing by adding a public comment through the YouTube platform or by sending an email to cityclerk@brandon.ca.


Copies of the 2020 Financial Plan may be obtained by contacting the City Clerk’s office at 204-729-2296 to make arrangements during regular office hours 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or under Public Notices on the City’s web site at https://www.brandon.ca/budget/finances-budget.
