Please be advised of the following 2016/2017 Christmas Holiday Hours of Operation for the City of Brandon:
Brandon City Hall (410-9th St.), the A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Avenue), and the Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Avenue East) will be closed on Monday, December 26th and Tuesday, December 27th in lieu of Christmas Day and Boxing Day. All three facilities will re-open for regular business hours on Wednesday, December 28th. Brandon City Hall, the A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex and the Civic Services Complex will also be closed on Monday, January 2nd, 2017 in lieu of New Year’s Day, and will re-open for regular business hours on Tuesday, January 3rd.
Brandon’s Community Sportsplex will be closed on Sunday, December 25th, Monday, December 26th, and Sunday, January 1st. Visit www.thesportsplex.ca for a complete list of facility hours and available programming.
All Brandon Transit Routes will operate on regular hours until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec.24th, but will NOT be running on Sunday, December 25th. Brandon Transit services will run on statutory holiday hours (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) on Monday, December 26th, and on Sunday, January 1st. A reminder of the FREE New Year's Eve bus service being offered from 6 p.m. on Dec.31st to 3 a.m. on January 1st.
The Eastview Landfill will be closed on Sunday, December 25th and Monday, December 26th, and again on Sunday, January 1st and Monday, January 2nd. Operating hours at the Eastview Landfill can be found at http://www.brandon.ca/sanitation/landfill/landfill-overview
