The City of Brandon Streets and Roads Department will be undertaking overnight removal of snow piles from streets in the City’s downtown on Sunday (January 10th) and Monday (January 11th) of next week. Beginning Sunday evening, areas of focus will be the removal of snow piles on curbs along Rosser Avenue, from 5th Street to 14th Street, and along Princess Avenue, from 5th Street to 13th Street.
As such, OVERNIGHT PARKING BANS along these identified snow routes will be in place from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. both nights.Residents are encouraged to take note of the above parking restrictions and find alternate parking during these times.As per the City of Brandon Traffic By-Law No. 5463/16/87, vehicles which remain parked on the City's identified snow clearing routes between those hours will be subject to a ticket or tow.
