Brandon City Council Pre-Budget Public Engagement Session on Oct.12

Brandon, MB – Brandon Mayor Rick Chrest and all members of Brandon City Council warmly welcome the public to attend a Council-led, pre-budget public engagement session on the evening of Wednesday, October 12th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Main Foyer of Brandon City Hall, 410-9th Street.

All residents are invited to attend this public engagement session and share their thoughts on the City’s current spending and investment priorities, along with any suggestions on where City spending priorities should be as it continues to develop the 2017 draft budget. A brief presentation at 7 p.m. will be followed by a question-and-answer opportunity with Mayor and Councillors and members of City Administration in attendance. Coffee and refreshments will be available and all members of the public are welcome.

For residents who prefer to engage from the comfort of their own homes or via their mobile devices, the session will also be livestreamed via the City of Brandon’s YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/CityofBrandonMB. Questions from the public will be accepted prior to and during the livestream by emailing budget@brandon.ca. Council and Administration will do their best to answer all submitted questions relevant to the budget process during the public engagement session.
