Household Hazardous Day

Did you know, that some items that we use on a regular basis are household hazardous waste? Did you know that we should not put these items into the landfill? So when you are doing your next fall or spring cleaning, please keep in mind what is hazardous and bring them to the next Household Hazardous Waste Day.

To find out if an item is hazardous, please contact the Sanitation Department at 729-2281.

There are also 5 business that will be accepting old paint from May 1 – until October 1:

  • Windsor Plywood – 1840 – 18th St N.
  • Rona – 2402 Park Ave.
  • Janzen’s paint & Decorating - 2510 Park Ave.
  • General Paint – 1136 18th St.
  • Brandon Home Hardware – 1020 – 18th St. **this location also take the fluorescent tubes**
